RAGBRAI: Visit the 100 Block for Fuel, Refreshments, and to Cheer on Riders!

First Stop: The 100 Block

After an entertainment-filled day at the RAGBRAI Expo, RAGBRAI riders are in for a treat as they head out of Council Bluffs on day one of RAGBRAI.

As riders head out of town, they will bike their way through the historic 100 Block of West Broadway, home to some of the best restaurants and bars in town.

The block’s businesses have teamed up to offer riders a variety of ways to fill up as they begin their 59.9-mile journey to Atlantic, the next overnight town.

Locals are also invited to take part in the festivities, cheering on riders and enjoying the breakfast and drink options at the open businesses. This is a great way to show off our Council Bluffs hospitality and join in the fun of RAGBRAI!

Here is a list of what 100 Block businesses will offer on Sunday, July 21 beginning around 6 a.m.—alcohol will not be served until after 8 a.m.

The 100 Block will also have a “last chance” tire dip photo op, complete with a trough of water to dip your bike tire in. There may be a few other photo opportunities along the block as well.

Locals, don’t forget to join us! The 100 Block will be a sight to see!
